About

Lint is usually something we try to get rid of—from our clothes, or from the lint filters of clothes dryers.

Centuries ago, however, soft bits of fuzz and fluff were considered useful as a dressing for wounds, and were collected by scraping the fuzz off linen cloth. [m]

“Open your mouth,” my friend Matt said in high school geometry class. So I did. He proceeded to throw in a bit of lint from his pocket.

This blog houses my thoughts and experiences on PhD life, software development and documentation, and patent law. (And anything else under the sun.) Peruse with an open mind, and I might throw in something useful or interesting.
